Can I make a special order?

Yes, please contact us for Special Orders. Full payment is required on these orders.

What’s the procedure for defective products?

The manufacturer’s warranty covers all items sold by CityTek. All items should be sent to the manufacturer directly for service.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude taxes, shipping, applicable taxes and duties exported from Canada. These charges will be reflected on your order.


What payment methods can I use?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, debit, PayPal, Amex, wire transfer, bank draft, and cash, etc.

What are the applicable sales taxes?

Sales taxes are in Canadian dollars and will be included in your bill of sale.

Order Status

What happens after the order is placed?

You will receive an email confirming your order, invoice and shipping tracking number.

When will my order be delivered?

Usually 3-5 business days within Canada. The estimate will be included in your order confirmation.

How to check the status of my order?

Track your order on the My Account page with your in-progress and order history
including shipping as well as information about returns.

Returns & exchanges

What’s the process to return & exchange a product?

You can receive a full refund if the product is unused and in its original unopened box.

What’s the return policy for special order?

Special ordered products have no option to return


How can I get my order shipped outside of Canada?

We only sell to Canada and the United States. Please contact us for orders outside of The USA and Canada.

After-sale service

How do I proceed to a repair?

Repairs are offered Monday to Friday from 8:00am until 6:00pm in Vancouver BC. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we only offer shipped in repairs at this time.
Please use a Shipping facility like Mail Box Etc to properly cushion the product and include a brief description of the issue fault. Call us to coordinate this.

How long does it take for a repair?

Usually evaluations are done within 48 hours of receipt. This will vary due to the type of problem. We will work with you to effectively respond with time and cost estimates.

What’s the cost involved in the repair?

Our technicians look at your product and diagnose the fault when out of warranty. This can include testing, checking functions and in some cases disassembling your product to check for problems. We will call or email you once the evaluation is completed to let you know what the cost will be for repair before we proceed.

What’s the warranty on a repair?

We provide a 90-day warranty on the parts and labor.


Do you offer rentals?

Yes, please contact us with the equipment you require and we will provide an estimate.

Do you discount based on more days rented?

Yes, we offer very competitive long term rates. Please contact us for details.

How to extend the renting period?

Contact us immediately to extend your rental contract.

What happens if I damage/lose the rented items?

You will be charged for any loss or damage.

What if I’m not able to return on time?

Contact us immediately to extend your rental contract.

When do I pay for the rental?

All rentals must be paid in their entirety at the time of pick up.

What’s the difference if I rent for the weekend?

CityTek offers weekend discounts. Please contact us for details.

How does the rental insurance work?

You can purchase insurance through us from different providers.
